  • Comments: Not to be picky, but I would have prefered another aid station on the bike at the end on the way back into town. Other than that it was a great race which I will consider doing again, the only problem is it's so far from Colorado!

  • Comments: This was a great race. I actually got teary-eyed when I crossed the finish line. The volunteers/spectators were awesome. I have no idea the name (I am sure he told me but I don't remember much after crossing the line) of the volunteer who stayed with me until I was safe at the convention center but he was awesome.

  • Comments: I couldn't have picked a better first Ironman. Weather was amazing, course was beautiful, and I felt fantastic all day long. Overall an incredible experience, I can't wait to do another.

  • Comments: If you're on the fence about a full Ironman-DO IT !!! What an incredible journey with so many ups & downs over the last year, as well as race day. Two years ago I could not run 1.5 miles, did not own a bike & never been in a lap pool. I weighed 225 & was unhappy with myself. Today I'm at 168. I am 37 & feel better than i did at 20!!!!   • Comments: I loved the race but they need to do something about the swim start. That was terrible. They should have assigned waves or start based on your number. That would eliminate the long wait in line. But other than that it was an awesome race with great volunteers. I could not believe the organization and how well everything was run.

  • Comments: IM is expensive, no doubt, but these people KNOW how to put on a race. The volunteers were absolutely AMAZING. The organization was as near to flawless as an undertaking of this magnitude can be. The civil service should take lessons from these people. The crowds were fantastic. I loved it, even while I was suffering.

  • Comments: I came back to L'ville to exact revenge on the course and that's what I did. I bettered last year's time by 1h 56m. The race was great and well organized. Plus it was great to hear Mike R.tell me I was an Ironman!!
