Comments: I had set a goal time of 1:25:00 based on my target paces. (9:00/1:30/42:00/2:30/30:00) My actuals were (11:30/1:12/42:02/1:15/30:16). I had given my self plenty of time for T1 and T2 as a buffer. What I didnt account for on the swim was the current/distance difference vs last year. I felt great after the race and was better prepared for this race than any other so far. Overall I think it was a great race. I wanted to finish Top 10 and hit my goal but I was still pleased for the most part. The five guys in front of me were all within 47 seconds. I could have made that up with Zipp wheels, better bike setup and a sprint at the finish.
