  • Post race activities? Good
  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: Some volunteers on the golf course portion of the run would have helped. Not only because of the small signage and abrupt run off the cart path and onto the grass, but many runners could have easily cut through sections to shorten their run.

  • Comments: Race actually started 1/2 hour late due to bad early AM weather creating problems setting up equipment. Race organizers sent out email notification of late start early that AM. Had some sort of timing problem and results were not available until later in the day and final times not until a few days later. Overall a great venue, the weather ended up being very good, and it was fun. Nice live music at the finish.

  • Comments: The packet pickup line was long on Saturday. It was the first time that I had body marking the day before. Thankfully, the weather cleared for the race but the transition area still had puddles. I was glad that my bike rack did not have standing water. I did not see the results while at the race.

  • Comments: Need water at exit from T2. Need protection for climbing over rocks into the water. Consider putting transition in parking lot not bugs and have closer bike dismount.

  • Comments: Well I gave them the benefit of the doubt after a terrible year 1. Looks like I should have stayed home. After having to trek nearly a mile from the parking lot to the race I was greeted with going into a mosquito pit for transition. The transition area was in a dark grassy field, instead of the well lit paved parking lot right next to the field. The swim was pretty nice and very good conditions. Transition was not to bad, and if you are looking for a fast bike course this is it. The out and back on A1A was nice and not to much traffic to deal with. As I was coming into transition, I was noticed the person in front of me crashing as he tried to ride to the dismount line. Well it appears they decided to place the dismount line 15 ft onto a dirt and gravel road. It made for a tough T2. Heading out on the run, I usually like to get a drink of water at the exit, but there was no water to my surprise. Out on the run course, I had to rely on my memory as to where the mile

  • Comments: This is the second year this race has been run. I will not be returning for the third year. Organizer has tried to lure faster athletes by offering a series prize money. While this sounds like a good idea, the organizer has forgotten about what makes the races fun...the middle and end of the pack racers. I had sent several e-mails to the organizer's posted e-mail address last year with no response...after this past race, I'm wondering if he even reads them? The packet pickup is disorganized with poor parking. Packets have little to offer. This year we had a pamphlet from NASA and some stickers. No numbers for our helmets. Transition is in a mosquito infested field when there is a perfect, lightly used parking lot 20 yards away from the entry and exit of the swim course. The swim course is nice and wind protected in a river fed canal. There are enough lifeguards in the water. The bike course is mostly pancake flake through residential streets and A1A. Nice and fast

  • Comments: It was the first year so race organization was pretty bad. Something happened to the bike numbers when they were printed so they improvised with manila envelopes.

  • Comments: First time this race was run. Packet pickup was disorganized and there were long lines for AM packet pickup, body-marking, and chips. Race itself was a lot of fun. The course was safe and well-marked and the venue was nice.

  • Comments: 1st year for the event. The packet pick-up was a nightmare because it was at a bad location with little parking. Morning of the race was dis-organized as well and not clearly lineated. Race started late because of the lines waiting to get body-markings.
