  • Comments: Great value and distances good for 1st race and this time of year. Race is run very well and volunteers are some of the best I've seen.

  • Comments: This was a great event because Jim Mishler really made an effort to make it a low frills, low cost race. He is an outstanding race director having been in triathlon for many years and having a solid understanding what it takes to make an event like this a success. I highly recommend this race for either new athletes to triathlon or vets who want to throw down a short and fast triathlon to get their triathlon season amped up.

  • Comments: This was a well-run race, particularly since it was the first year. The volunteers did a great job and course marking was good. There were a couple spots that were just a little confusing but volunteers were onhand to direct people. The race director did a good job of keeping everyone informed. It was also the first race that someone actually announced my name as I was crossing the finish line which seemed like a very nice touch.
