  • Comments: This was a GREAT beginner race. It was very well organized and everyone was very helpful. the distance was perfect for a first timer. it was short enough that i could do it but long enough for me to learn what i need to work on.

  • Comments: I really enjoy the Outloud events, but something just didn't seem right with this one. The speaker system wasn't set up when I finished and they were still getting things organized. The lake is too shallow to swim when there hasn't been much rain and the after-party that I remember enjoying so much last year wasn't there. No Double Daves and no party equals 'BOO', but I will continue to run in Outloud events and will probably do this race again next year to give it another chance.
