  • Comments: All in all I loved it. Great location, beautiful lake (even had a hot air baloon flyover on the swim), outstanding police and volunteer presence on the bike course, great camaraderie with other competitors.

  • Comments: Well done. Plenty of volunteers to keep you safe and on course. The race info does say that they had Heed on the course, but none of the volunteers ever offered it so I don't know if that is true or not. But overall, a pretty well organized race. My only real issue was the fact that they closed the swim area about 40 minutes before the race start! I think that is excessive and it meant that I didn't get to warm up before the race. That was never mentioned in any of the info online or in their e-mails. I would have gotten there earlier if I had known that. I didn't have a horrible swim, but it would have been better if I had been able to warm up properly.

  • Comments: Pretty good overall. I would have liked the transition area to have been closer to the swim and bike, but I understand they were limited by the geography of the area. I did like the time trial style of the swim start, but that portion of the race was poorly managed (in my opinion) and I definitely didn't start on time. I liked that each swim "wave" had different colored swim caps so you knew where your group was. Unfortunately, some knuckleheads decided they didn't want to wait for their wave and cut through the line.

  • Comments: Great race. If the weather was a bit better it would have been really good. The course was different and I really liked it. Will go back next year.

  • Comments: Great job by sun multisport on putting on a new race. The lake is murky but its a short swim! Bike and run courses were great!!!Everything was well organized and there were a ton of volunteers. Nice job!!!I would highly recommend this race. Lots of fun
