  • Comments: Great race organizers. Great spectators. I am hooked on the high I got from this event. This is the start of something fun. The best thing was the grueling uphill for the last 1/8-1/4 mile. Somebody was 50 m ahead of me, and some others were 50 m behind. As I started pumping to climb to the finish (I was NOT going to walk to the finish), a woman yelled out "Keep it up, we're all cheering for YOU!" at which point the whole crowd of spectators started cheering. I've never hundreds of people cheer for ME. Totally cool. I got my "Finished" medal, to which my 4 year old started proclaiming "Dad won the race!".

  • Comments: I loved the cold towels at the end and the cold water at the drink stations!

  • Comments: The course was well-laid out, and I thought the organization was well done. I think they need to have a sports drink available, and a little better selection of post-race food (not always pizza). If I had the opportunity, I think I would likely do this race again.
