  • Comments: Awesome race site, great views, people were awesome. Super organized from the chutes and transition, to the packet pickup 'Timberfest' on Sat. Would recommend this race weekend to anyone. We'll be going back.. but maybe for the sprint.. and watch the pros on Sunday. Make sure you train for long hill climbs on the bike!

  • Comments: I was slow, BOBOP, didn't meet my goal, and didn't break 7 hours, but I did finish with a smile on my face, and I had a LOT of fun, so this was a VERY successful race for me. Endorfun puts on a great event, so if you ever have a chance to do one of their races, do it!

  • Comments: Great pre-race events, a sprint, kid tris, diners, expo, lot of cool stuff. World class athletes, team hoyt, and a ton of great people. Yes the post race food wait was a pain but everything else was great and the course and lake was beautiful and challenging. Hopefully I'll be healty and ready go hard next year, but the effort was good and I left with a great taste in my mouth.

  • Comments: There were some issues with the food line, but I wasn't that hungry right after the race so standing around for an hour or more didn't really bother me much. Otherwise, this race is A+. It's well organized and a lot of fun. I hope to be back again.

  • Comments: I would highly recommend this race to anyone interested in a 70.3 distance. The area is beautiful. The race was very well organized, and it was fun despite my poor performance! Some big name athletes raced Timberman including the winners: Chrissy Wellington and Andy Potts. Only complaint about the race was the post-race-food line which we stood in for an hour to eat pizza, cold cuts, and some antipasta. Overall, Timberman was a great experience.

  • Comments: This is an awesome 70.3 race. It is a great location, challenging course and awesome pro field. I can not say enough and really have no negative comments. Only thing is you need to make reservations for a hotel a year in advance. If you want an amazing place to stay, Lake Opechee Inn and Spa is awesome; expensive, but worth it for a weekend escape. I will be back to this race again. Probably not next year, but it will be on our schedule in the future.

  • Comments: For my first experience, it was great. Very orgazined, lots of fun activities before and nice perks like hats, t-shirt, finishers medal, etc....I loved the run course most with so much support, it got me through the toughest time and made it fun. I was impressed with how well every thing was marked and organized. It is not the most condusive space to hold such a large evet, yet it was pulled off so well. I have one criticism, but it is minor. There was a lot of food for the athletes after the race, but unfortunately, there was one line and a 30 minute wait. That line was that long for a few hours. I was tired, hot, hungry, but the last thing I wanted to do was stand for 30 minutes for free food. Minor personal issue there. I did get to see team hoyt, andy potts and I met chrissy wellington and had here sign my bib. She is so very nice. It was a great experience and I am glad that race was my first HIM.

  • Comments: Since this was my first HIM I was pretty pleased with my pace, and I came in within 8 minutes of my goal pace (7:05). I was also pleased that the problems I had were expected and explainable, there were no surprises. By far, it was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life!

  • Comments: As disappointed as I was at not hitting that sub-6 mark (or making it anywhere near it), this was an amazing race. Not only was it well coordinated, but the camaraderie of all the triathletes there was unsurpassed. In fact, I may just have to come back up next year, even if the trek will be a little bit longer!

  • Comments: This is a great race and much more interesting then the Eagleman course. It is a tough course but very enjoyable and a lot of fun. The pre race and post race events look to be family friendly and also a lot of fun for a long weekend. able to see lots of friends on the course: May, Max, Rob, Jorge, Nate and some other who I don't know their names. also great to race a race with a great pro/elite lineup.

  • Comments: This was an amazing race. Keith puts on good event, not just a race. The festival at Gunstock was good. I especially enjoyed the pro race forum where we all got to ask pros such as Desire, Simon Lessing, Michael Lovato, and Kate Major questions. The lake was really clear and a pleasure to swim in. The bike course was challenging but not severely so, and the run course was probably the best supported of any race I've done. But perhaps, the best thing about the race is the area itself. This lakes region of NH is simply amazing and my wife and I had a great time exploring it. At about 5pm back at our condo, we ran into another racer who was just coming back from the Clearwater/World Championship 70.3 slot allocation and he was excited b/c he got a slot. I asked him what his time was and he said 5:35 and he was M30-34! That means, I would have GOTTEN A SLOT had a stayed for the roll-down! Now, I don't know if I would've accepted it anyway as I've already done 2 destination

  • Comments: Can't say enough about this event. It was by far the best event i have ever been to. There were plenty of volunteers and plenty of post race activities to enjoy. If all of Keith Jordans' events are this awesome I'm sure I'll be signing up for some of the other races he runs.

  • Comments: This was a great race. The course was awesome, the lake was beautiful, and the volunteers were just the greatest. I would just suggest they get more port-o-pots for down by the TA. I’ve done smaller races with just as many pots. A 25-min wait was a little crazy and stressful. But, otherwise, everything was good. Oh, and that traffic jam sucked at the beginning…no one really knows what happened there. Apparently it was a first. Oh well.

  • Comments: I agree with others RR's that Keith does a great job with these events. I did Mooseman in June as well and both were well organized and plenty of help and volunteers along the way. Both were great ways to enter into the HIM arena!

  • Comments: Keith's races are the best. I got to toss some of my best one liners to Desiree Ficker during the rolldown. I made her laugh, even in front of her BF. I did hold back the "Hey, Desiree, I have a picture of you as the background on my computer at work, do you want to see?" line as I thought she might find that a little creepy. Also, I picked up a Clearwater spot which was my ultimate goal as my wife parent and my folks both live in that area and it would be a great opportunity to have them experience an event with me.
