Overall course based on my ability: Just right

Comments: I had a great time and i can't wait to do it again. Big Spring is next but i am nervous about the open water swim. i am going to drag my father-in-law and his Kayake out to the lake to make sure i don't drown and do a practice run. The bike distance will be ok but i want to check out the hills.

Overall course based on my ability: Just right

Comments: Lots of folks I know, and a few Ironmen. Mike Greer, 70yo Ironman and race director from Lubbock (BSLT) came down to race and we had a chance to visit. Lot's of first timers -and that adds fun and excitement as well. A real good race. Lots of folks I knew and I get to meet a few new triathletes. AND I got 1st in AG! My first first.
