  • Comments: Multiple CAT 1 And 2, 12-15 miles climbs to over 9,000ft! The last one at mile 97 of the 100mile loop. Come Test Yourself, your riding acumen, and ability to 'hold back' long enough to actually finish this ride without just lying on the ground begging for a ride (as I saw plenty of people who went faster than me on the early climbs, doing, 18 miles from the finish in Eagle Nest!). You've been warned! Smile.

  • Comments: There was an extra aid station, and even guys handing out drinks at roadside in Angel Fire- that's a great idea! I stopped both ways, and even used the restroom inside the strip mall there on the back out. The last climb being 3-4 miles from finish, makes this ride 'too hard' for everyone, but it's a great ride overall.

  • Comments: The full 100 with the Mtns was a bit more than I was ready for. Had several 4 hour rides, but this was a jump to 7 Hours and as such a bit too much. Need more 5-6 Hour Rides and One More Gear for this in the future- OR to cut the Out-And-Back and make it an under 6-Hour deal. As it was, went through 80 in 5:30. BBQ was no big deal, but nice to get a Burger for free. And the event was only $35 for GREAT volunteers, clothing drop, Aid Stations, T-Shirt, EMT & Rescue support, and BBQ with Band!
