  • Comments: Love that I can bike to the race. This was my first tri five years ago and it is awesome to see and talk to people that are doing the race for their first tri. The race is very organized and think it's pretty cool that they are going for 'green' certification. Can't wait for next years race.

  • Comments: A return to the race where I hurt my shoulder in 2010. I only rated the race overall a 4 because we have a local 5k that has Subway cater the post-race, a hard act to follow otherwise it was an excellent race.

  • Comments: I don't want to say it was 'the best' because I have nothing to compare it to, but it was a very good event, at least; it was very fun, and barring doing another race next year instead, will happily sign up for this one.

  • Comments: This triathlon was my first-ever four years ago... and I've been back for every one since. I love this race and the atmosphere. The volunteers are great and everything is very well run.

  • Comments: South Lansing Community Development always does a great job organizing this event. From the start times, course layout and volunteers - it's ALWAYS run on par with the best event organizers!

  • Comments: Overall this was a great race for beginners to seasoned racers. I will for sure be back next year, Lansing does a great job putting this race on. I am hard on myself and competitive so the swim really bothered me but I am happy for where I placed in my age group and overall.
