  • Comments: Team ortho does a good job. I think some people were annoyed at the delay, but I didn't mind, and I bet the people stuck in the traffic jams were thankful!

  • Comments: Team Ortho does a great job putting on a race, they've been doing this one for several years and they have it all worked out. I seem to remember more water stations in previous years, perhaps with the cold weather they cut back on them, I'm not sure. Free beer and post race party is great, I just never stick around for it. I'll certainly be back and continue to do their races.

  • Comments: Team Ortho races are expensive, but this one was worth it. Unlike Get Lucky, this race jacket actually worth it. Very well organized.

  • Comments: Regarding the drink stations, there were plenty, but I felt as though they weren't as organized and I had to slow down alot more than I normally do at aid stations. Volunteers didn't have cups ready, or maybe there weren't enough people handing off cups. I'll certainly plan on this race again next year. It's a fun race, good vibe, and well run event.

  • Comments: This was probably the best Team Ortho race I have participated in. Pretty well run considering the size of the crowd and no real complaints. I think there was a water stop missing in the final miles... The race jacket give to us is super awesome.

  • Comments: The course was gorgeous, but fairly easy. There were only 2 minor hills to speak of. I'm not complaining. The flat course led to me beating my goal time. They changed the course from an out-and-back to a point-to-point starting at Lake Nokomis and finishing at Lake Harriet. They were running a shuttle service back to Nokomis, but with several thousand runners and only a handful of buses, a lot of us ended up waiting close to 2 hours to get a lift. Hopefully, the RDs will learn from this and make improvements for next year.

  • Comments: This race is very fun. There were lots of kids out to see the runners dressed in costume. Next year, I think I should dress like Pippi Longstocking. The route was also beautiful, when I actually noticed it.
