  • Comments: Because of the hills and Chip Seal it is the hardest one day ride of the year. In its own way maybe harder than STP. I do not think I am going to do the full century again because of the following reasons: Steep windy descents with riders of different abilities was dangerous. Unmarked dangerous corners No flaggers at major intersections A lack of presence by the race officials on the course. The Rest Stops were fine and the volunteers friendly. I would like to have seen something to drink other than Water and propel though. For all the reasons listed above and the fact it was the most expensive century of the season I do not think I will do the ride again.
