  • Comments: The lake swim can be challenging, and the run from Lake Michigan to T1 at the Grand Haven YMCA can throw you for a loop if you're not ready for it. The bike and run courses are great, though the hill at the end of the run is a monster.

  • Comments: Super fun race. Different than any other race I have done so far, simply because of the layout and the geography. That run from the beach was tough, but a great way to test the athletes.

  • Comments: The only bad thing about this race it the run from the water back to the transition.

  • Comments: Thought the buoys were pretty tiny. Road traffic is an issue, I heard someone got hit by a car. I also saw a crazy driver at the turn around...he wouldn't wait for the biker to turn. I didn't stay for the post-race activities b/c I had plans, but heard the music was good.
