  • Comments: This is the 8th time I have run this race out of a possible 9 times. I missed in 2009 because of a kidney stone. I have raced this course under 1 hr. twice. I really wanted under an hour today but I thought things went pretty smooth and with a 50 year old finishing 3rd Overall and a 52 year old getting Grand Master it left the 1st in age group award for me.

  • Comments: I wanted to click the "too hard" for course evaluation...but I think I might just be a sissy. Although they do need to change the term "relatively flat" in the run description. RaceDayEvents did not disappoint again. Very well organized and run.

  • Comments: Race Day Events always puts on a class act show. Volunteers are well informed, T1/T2 is intelligently set up (take notes Rev3Tri) and directions are clearly marked as well as extra caution indications. Sandwiches by McAllisters and plenty of candy/drinks.

  • Comments: It was a fun event and I felt better about this one than my first triathlon. I felt like I did better about reserving energy for all three portions instead of burning it all on the swim.
