Has anyone heard of arena wetsuits? Are they any good?

Can't say that I have. If a "good" wetsuit is your goal and you're looking at this particular brand because it is cheap, I'd say buy something with more of a reputation. It might seem more expensive, but if you buy something you're not happy with, buying a wetsuit twice will really be costly.

Never heard of them either. I will caution you as well. You definitely want to find a triathlon-specific wetsuit [if you are going to be using it for triathlons]. Some people may tell you that you can use other types of wetsuits for triathlons, and this is true, but to a point. A triathlon wetsuit offers superior flexibility for swimming. Other types of wetsuits do not offer this and will make you work harder in the water, thus tiring you out more easily.

Arena is an old aquatics company. They have recently ventured into the performance race suit market again and I have read that they were to produce a line of triathlon stuff. That is all that I know, other than that Arena is a reputable company.

I just found their web site, their stuff is pretty expensive so the cheep one on ebay is pretty good. Onlt problem is he cut off the ankle for easy exit. Do you think this will make a huge difference. I just want something I can use this year until I can get a good one.
