You can't beat a frosty swim in the mighty Wascana.

Not likely. Whatever happened to that Polar Bear swim they used to do or maybe was that Polar Bear run.

If I recall correctly, they cancelled Waskimo a few years back because it hasn't been cold enough to be on the ice...It is a mixed blessing, I don't think I'd want to be in that water anyway, mind you , since the big dig there has been hope. And they're talking about introducing jackfish (to control the perch) so you never know, there might be hope for the biggest in city park in North America yet!

Even if the Wascana was deemed safe to swim in, I don't think that I could ever muster the courage to stick my face in that water. I've had the opportunity to fall into it many a time (kayak racing) during the worst part of the algea season. Uck.

But antibiotics have come a long way in the last few years.

Yeah, I never swam there...ever.

I wish it were green. It is orange and brown and several other colours not normally found in nature.

But its what we got, so we gots to be happy with it.

Hold on, I gotta tell some guy to stop idling his Hummer in front of the building....
