Me!  This will be my first IM.  I must be insane, I haven't even done a 1/2 yet - first one will be in August.

I am in.  2nd IM and I cannot wait to get into those Mont-Tremblant hills.

I live in Houston so training through the brutal SE Texas heat is going to suck but it will make race week so much more enjoyable!

Still open 9:35pm pacific.  interesting.  I'm not sure what to make of that other than that so many more found racing NJ more interesting than Mont Tremblant.

I am in along with two newbie friends.  I really wasn't looking to get into another IM but you can't let buddies do it without you!

Yeah I figure this course is fantastic, I don't know why it isn't sold out yet.  Maybe the hills scared a lot of people away.

The IMMT website has a nice reservation system, I saw some rooms for $109 CAD.  And the MT tourist gov site has a really nice map of the town and what accommodations are available.  I'd link but I am heading out to lunch..

I booked @ the Country Inn. Got a suite with a full kitchen. All of the resort's rooms/suites/condos have a VERY liberal cancelation policy. Something like you can cancel within a week. Check the fine print of course.

Registration still looks open, maybe it's the entry fee, with the weak dollar it's $690 US Surprised  compared to $575 for most other IM events. Can't get in on it this year but it's top of my list despite the entry fee, hoping cheaper hotels and being able to drive there will make up some of the difference.  Good Luck out there!!!

I booked a suite at 500ft or so from the transition zone, should be handy after the race when I won't be able to walk :p

Something like 250$ per day for four person, it was a nice price considering the size of the suite. I used the website http://www.tremblant.ca/index-e.htm to make my reservation, all the hotel are on there with a nice map, photos and videos of the room.

This thing still open to registration????? I thought this thing would have sold out...holy crap....figured I wouldn't have a chance to register/get in............now, maybe?

My wife and I got engaged here years ago, and have been back a couple of times in the winter for skiing.  Awesome village atmosphere.

Can't wait for Ironman MT and to see what this location looks like without snow.

Anyone train in Maine during the summer months?  It would be fun to get in some training rides with fellow IMMTers!

I hope they serve poutine at the finish line, that would help to keep me motivated all day long!

I'm in!  My first IM and I'm kind of freaking out.  I'm already bike shopping for the event.  Thinking about a Cervelo S2 to handle the hills.  Anyone have any opinions?

You'll likely get some varied opinions on this.  For me, the answer is always my tri bike no matter how hilly the race is.  I don't know what your situation is and your future IM plans, etc. so it's possible a road bike makes better sense for you.
