I fell asleep in the 8th, woke up in the 11th and went to bed, praying the Yankees would stick a fork in them and finally end it all.  But noooooo, there's more doom and gloom to come tonight.

I wish I could just not watch the damn thing, like everyone else does......

LOL...it's bad for your health.  You're gonna be 50 years old and look like Whistler's Mother!  Then again, just think how tough it makes you.  The hills in the Timberman 1/2 IM will seem easy compared to this ordeal.

I gotta say as a Yankee fan I was a bit worried going into the series & I still won't be at ease until its over. I can still imagine the sox coming back and forcing a game 7 & losing it in the Bronx again though. Hopefully for you sox fans it won't come to that.

Still, we haven't won a championship since 2000 so hopefully this is the year...

I'm with drewb8 on this one. I'm also a Yankees fan and won't be at ease until we win #4... hopefully tonight in Fenway. Another opportunity to show Pedro who his daddy is!

I'm riding my red rubber broom with the BoSox logo on it.  And just real happy that I made it home in time to watch the game.  And just as happy that it won't be a 1 AM affair.

I don't know....I feel as if we're being set up for another knife thru the heart.  2 games back in NY??  I think I need some valium for this

Last night I was hoping for a quick and painless death and now the glimmer of hope shines again.  Where's Welshy when I need an Ode to Red Sox Nation?

You know, I'm good for about 3, maybe 4 hours tops of drinking. I was stupid wasted by the 9th and couldn't hang on after the 12th. I told my hub to wake me up anytime Papi got up to bat (if it happened).

You think he did????? AFTER he hit!!   I had to settle for replays. Too much damn drama!

PAPI 4 PRESIDENT   LOL

The tension builds and builds.  Billy Buckner is just around the corner!

Oh, BTW TAGP, that was just my intial foray into getting Ellen to do the Timberman too!  OK, I got my new heart rate monitor, now I'm off to the club to see if I can blow a blood vessel in an attempt to find out my MHR...

Type A,
I  had a good visual...., you, RALLY CAP(the hair), totally wasted , asleep on the couch, being woken up by hubby as Papi hits the game winning run!!
I had my rally cap on, what sight! Oh, man what a game!!! Both teams deserve credit, really, what a physical and mental challenge.
     Go SOX!!!!!

LOL OMG

Almost! The bum let me fall asleep on the floor like a dog while he was up on the couch enjoying his Sammy's Octoberfests, and woke me up AFTER Papi hit the ball. At least he didn't kick me awake.

Is that any way to treat an athlete?
