I'm out of peanut butter again.
Mike just in case you and Max hadn't noticed, we're not making the trip east. We decided since we're closing on a house on the 27th. we should probably stay around. Next year!

peanut butter almost cost me a new job!!  I never liked PB (sacrilege I know!!), but I've started eating it on my bagels instead of butter, and am slowly growing to love it. BUT ... I had a job interview thursday.  Wore my spiffy new suit to my current job (interview was after work).  All day long could not figure out why my suit kept getting dirty. I'd clean off the stains, and low and behold, more kept popping up.  Show up at the interview, with my purse over my arm, put my purse down, reach out to shake his hand, and realize I am COVERED in something brown and icky.  Look down in horror and realize my purse is the culprit - there's a HUGE blob of peanut butter on it, that's been rubbing all over me everytime I pick it up. I had gone for a run before work that day, grabbed a bagel and peanut butter for the car ride into work, and I guess my purse fell onto the bagel on the seat beside me and ended up with peanut butter all over it!!

So I am shaking hands with the guy about to interview me - and I yelp "oh my god I'm covered in peanut butter!!!" He said not a word, handed me a kleenex .. and believe it or not, looks like I'm getting the job!!!

Billy Vera wrote a song about Peanut Butter...Unfortunately the media file is too large to upload

"I like peanut butter, creamy peanut butter, crunchy peanut butter too..."
"It tastes so good but it's so hard to chew..."

As part of my New Years Resolutions list, I promised to eat only the REAL peanut butter. I bought a large tub of Adams at Costco and am delighted with it!!! I don't miss the sugar at all, and definately don't miss the extra fat. I don't mind blending it a bit each morning before spreading it on my cranberry bran muffin. It's a bit runnier than the old stuff, but, if I'm consuming a 2kg tub every 3 months,( is that alot, average or what?) I thought I'd better be a better peanut butter eater!!!! How much do you all eat per month? Just curious.

Cheers the ode to pb...rock on.

I actually mixed in some PB with my banana, yogurt, soy milk, and non-sweetend cocao smoothie, thought my blender might gum up, but it really sent me into a food orgasm, (can I use that word with food?)- H***, I 'll never quit Tri's as long as I can get my PB, banana, choco-super-smoothie - rock On, PB

I just had a peanut butter and jelly with fritos and honey. It was sublim and has been too long.  I swear the hot flashes lasted for 10 minutes.  Or maybe that was the effect of my arteries clogging and the blood flow being limited to my brain.

I have missed you my creamy, goey friend.

That is precisely why you should have never left her.  She was there, waiting; patiently, desparately, waiting for you.

P.S. Don't you have a race in a week or so?
