So glad we snuck in!  Sheri and I had fun (and any time barley pops are available is a good time for me!)  Nice set-up Jen/Josh on the home.

Haha! Yea, nobody told me about those possibilities either! I was at my best behavior the whole time.

I made sure I covered my mouth when I farted, and even lifted the toilet seat after peeing on it because someone left it down!

Does that have a name? I think we should call it "Blow back" or something like that.

Perfect! Kids are at the "media center" for the next hour, so I'm on my way to the kindergarten classes to give Barping lessons.

Note: The library is now called the "media center", and a librarian is now called a "media specialist". I made the mistake of calling our "media specialist" a librarian, and you'd think I called her a racial slurr. I can't get a reason as to why "librarian" is such a naughty-no-no name from anybody. I think I want to be called an "instructional specialist" now, and get my panties bunched up if someone referrers to me as a "teacher".

That's especially silly given that a Library is just a repository for various forms of media. Sure its root is Libr for book, but the Latin root of library is "book case", where all the media is kept. Do they call them media cases now?

Plus the title of Librarian actually carries some prestige since that means you have a degree in library sciences. In the care of the facility to house and preserve the media as well as to index and search it. I would counter to that Media Specialist, "Oh so you don't have a library sciences degree then?" I think you can take a class in multi-media at powerpoint university Wednesday nights at the PC Doctor shop.

But I digress, Speaking of multi-media and trying to get back on topic.... Tanya! Dan! How's the design coming along?

I recieved this email from Dan yesterday:

"I am hoteling in San Diego Friday night [i.e. - lots of uninterrupted down time] so I'm expecting to have the Illustrator viersion of the logo in final draft form this weekend [meaning ready for review]"

LOL! My thoughts exactly.  To me, wanting to be called a "media specialist" over "librarian" is like an  Obstetrician wanting to be referred to as a "baby doctor".

Dan and I have been working back and forth to make the final tweaks and it is soooo close. I hope to have something printed off or posted for you all to see tomorrow.
