Our New Baby

 Philadelphia, south of New York and north of DC |  Subject: Our New BabyHe was born at 7:15 AM on Mother's Day. My wife Cornelia delivered him at home as planned. As we expected, he was a big one, weighing in at 11lbs. 4ozs. That was the exact same weight as his next oldest brother Lucas. We haven't given him a name yet, and probably won't for several more days. There are two names right now in the running, and we're waiting to see which suits him the best. We had two midwives plus Cornelia's sister who is an obstetric nurse as her main support, plus her other two sisters and her grown niece. The baby's brothers and other cousins were there as well.
