Just cuz Dale's freakin' hilarious. And he's enjoying a beer. Some classic Dale:

Sometimes I wish the government would just ban itself. Wrap your heads around that, fellas.

If there are no Cubans, how do you account for Desi Arnaz?

If you're going to shoot me, I want Bobby Hill to take the shot, because he'll put me down clean

Sorry, son, that's the coffee talking, and the fluorescent lighting, and the excruciating headache!

I'll tell you the same thing I told that doctor, I'm not quitting you incompetent quack!

Dale Gribble: My name is Shackelford, Rusty Shackelford, I refuse to speak without my attorney present,
[stands, takes off his hat]
Dale Gribble: I am Mr. Shackelford's attorney, Rusty Shackelford, My client pleads insanity.

So Bill's taking a solo drive across the desert. How much of Bill's body do you think vultures will refuse to eat?

Poor Bill. Too fat to work out, not fat enough to stay in bed.

Now is the time to mold Bobby's mind while the material is still soft. In Bobby's case, exceptionally soft.

You know what the problem is? It's a Ford. You know what Ford stands for? Fix It Again Tony

I am your worst nightmare! I have a three-line phone and plenty of time to kill!

If you want, I can teach you how to make a bomb out of a toilet paper roll and a stick of dynamite

Luv Dale

Mine is my husband's graduating police academy class this year.  He was a goldsmith, but always dreamed of being a p.o.  He was the oldest in the group (40) and most of them were in their mid-20's.  About 40% of his class were let go during the winter because it was so hard.

I'm incredibly proud of him - he's my inspiration....he's taught me not to give up - ever.

You can argue his place in regards to coaching greats, but you can't argue he was a fascinating person! Read his book "You Win With People" sometime. May change your mind.

I was on a losing team for a running challenge in October 2007, wherein we had to post pics of our legs. My reasons for keeping it are threefold:
1. I'm lazy
2. I get a pretty positive response, and that makes me feel good
3. Motivation. My legs look nothing like that anymore, but if I keep up my comeback maybe they will.

Just a funny picture I took after playing with Bubble Puppy, putting it away next to Elmo.  It was my wife who noticed it later and started laughing.

DerekL - 2009-11-11 7:18 PM It's mostly to cover up the fact that I'm slow strike fear in the hearts of my enemies.

You'd be a lot faster if you weren't carrying those huge guns! Wink

Mine is just a shot from a cycling camp in Death Valley. Just liked it.

Question? What represents me better than Me in my Flash costume (my old Avatar.)?

Answer - A picture of me and my most awesome wife who supports my insanity!
