Subject: Does anyone know anything about Fetish Cyclery Products

I am in the process of buying some used carbon fiber wheels from someone and he said they were made by Fetish Cyclery in Scottsdale.   I trust the person that I am buying them from (he is one of my friends) but just am wondering about these.

carbon wheels

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I don't know a ton about them but Fetish was designed and owned by the owner of Airpark Bikes, Steve Driscoll.  Steve lives up in N. Scottsdale as well.  Fetish was an entire bike line launched probably 8 years or so ago by Steve and from what I knew, turned out some pretty decent frames/bikes.  However, at that time I was into MTB and that's all I could really speak to.  I know Steve turned out numerous road bike and even some TT/Tri bike frames as well.

Sorry I'm not more of a help.  I believe Airpark is still in business so you could always give them a ring.

Thanks for the heads up!  I am looking forwards to using these wheels this weekend.

I bought a Fetish Inizio frame about 5 years ago and I have been riding it ever since. I am a big boy and it has never let me down. I don't know about their other components, but the frame has treated me right. I guess I would say that from my experience that I would be willing to give their other components a try.

Steve was always very passionate about his bikes so I can't imagine him turning out a junk product.  I've met the guy numerous times, partied at his house on New Years (he actually throws one of the better NYE parties in N. Scottsdale), hung out in his shop hundreds of times etc.  Not only was he always a great guy but everyone else he employed would go the extra mile for anyone.
