No finger pointing going on here!

BTW, if you have a better idea I'm all up for it! I just don't know any other way to do it (can you tell this is my first time organizing a challenge???)

Hm, you could just count pounds lost.

Say "Janie" has a goal of losing 8 lbs....

The first week, she loses 2 lbs. So she's at 25% of her goal....

By the last week, she's lost all 8 lbs, giving her 100% of her goal.

(I'm bored. I'm lurking. )

That would be easy for calculation purposes, I guess. What if people go over their goal, though?

Two options:
a) You set a limit of achieving 100% of goal.
b) Or you allow more than 100%.

Or, you can just make everyone report their starting weight, which is what you had in mind in the first place.

No worries - I'm the only one that will have to do math. Thankfully I homeschool!

By the way are you going to post an excel or just report back to us after we post our weight on the thread? Do we post our weight to the thread tomorrow?

Yeah, post your weight to your team thread tomorrow. I'll just give a report each week - no fancy spreadsheets (although I will be spreadsheetin' behind the scenes!).

I'm doing Iron Girl Columbia, MD too. This is my first spring triathlon and I've been training since last August. I was in the crowd cheering everybody on last year

I'd like to do an Olympic distance next year maybe. We'll see how it goes.
