I have always run sockless in my Nike Haywards when racing up to even a Half IM distance with no problems, so I have experience doing it, I just don't think I can in these. Having said that, other people can, it's really dependent on the structure of your foot as to weather they work or not. No way to know until you try them.

I got my Zoot ULTRA Tempo+ in the mail yesterday. I tried them on without socks and they felt tight across the top. I have just placed my order for size 11 to see if that gives me any more room. I don't have a wide foot; however, I am currently wearing Brooks size 10.5 2E.

I will update when I get the 11's in the mail.
