I am PRAYING for good weather to come soon and stay! I am expecting the water to be all but unbearable, but I hope that the out-of-water temp isn't horrid, or I'll definitely waste a few seconds throwing on some long sleeves before the bike.

Hello everyone, Tony in Arlington here.

Been training for tri's since the beginning of last summer. Hoping to actually compete in my first one this year, had a bit of bad luck before my first 2 attempts last summer.

Hagerstown tri, was in a car accident the week before and couldn't compete.

Reston tri, threw my back out 2 weeks before, couldn't compete..

Signed up for at least 3 this year so far, so hopefully third times a charm...

Hi all.

Henry or "H.J." in Arlington, more specifically in Ballston.  My exercise takes me along the Wilson Boulevard corridor, the Custis (yum), WO&D, and other assorted neighborhoods in the area.  I must say that there are some really friendly people near 18th street and Washington Bvd; I was running there one day, not really looking lost, and everyone was smiling and waving to me like they knew me as if I was friends with ther brother or dating thier sister!!!  Nah, it must have been the traling toilet paper... (smiles)

For those who are close to Wiliiamsburg or the Peninsula, Colonial Area Tri club will be having impromtu rides on the weekends.  We also will be starting our OWS in the JAmes River on the 24th.
