I live in Montgomery Township, just outside of Philly and use the Wiss. Valley park to run all the time. I am not familiar with Pine Run Rd. Which park is it in? I Google Earthed it but am not familiar with that one?

it's a pave multi-use trail thru fairmount park (I guess the real name is pennypack creek park but it's part of the fairmount park network I think)

we'll be starting at the entrance at pine road :

I should have looked at google closer and recognized it as Pennypack. I've ridden there many times. I usually park in Lorimer park, Abington Township (Montgomery Co.) It is only a short distance further up the trail but much more secure to park at. I probably can't get there that early but may get out at the Wissahickon on Saturday a little later. probably do a trail run if the weather doesn't permit a mountain bike ride. I attached your link with Lorimer park added.

9 miles of trail running next Saturday AM with bucks county road runners:
http://www.bcrr.info/weekly_run.htm
Saturday Morning Trail run at Washington Crossing

Also unless otherwise noted a group is meeting weekly at approx 7:00AM on SATURDAY to run 6-8 for a trail run . Contact Chris Mortensen if you have any questions [email protected]
Coming from PA you can take 532 across the Washington Crossing Bridge into NJ. Immediately after crossing the bridge (before the traffic light) there is a parking lot on your left. We meet in that lot at 7am.

As for the run itself. It's really not that bad. We go at an easy pace (8 to 9 min per mile usually). The trail is very manageable.... unless it rains the night before.

anyone interested?
