Subject: RE: the best heart rate monitor training book? A few fellow athlete's attended one of her workshops in Clermont, FL and informed me about heart rate training and her book. So actually, Sally Edwards was my first reference and got me interested in heart rate training. To me and from what I remember, the book did not seem to read fluidly and it lacked solid references in heart and physiology science. This was from within the chapters of the book and it lacked a decent bibliography. The book reads like information was from her personal experience and what she learned from other athletes. Which is perfectly fine to a certain extent.
This is the book I read. This one at amazon appears to be the 2nd edition. Maybe it's a bit better
