For me cramping is a sign of not enough electrolytes. What do you drink when you workout? How long are your workouts? If you are just replacing your sweat with water your electrolytes may be down. How about something like nuuns which is a capsule you drop in water bottle with maybe 5 calories.

Just curious..I've noticed a correlation with calf cramps with folks that have had or have Plantar Fasciitis and/or tight heel cords like me. Just curious if you fall into that category?  If so might be smart to work on stretching and gaining flexibility.

Someone mentioned that to me before - man I don't like that reason - I like the low sodium/electrolytes. At least that can be changed quickly! So back to the drawing board - maybe I think I am more fit than I really am.

Believe me, I'd prefer the other reasons to be right too.  I tried all the other stuff.  But, lo and behold, as I get more fit I cramp less.
