Subject: Multi-vitamins- better tasting alternative?
Has anyone ever seen an adult multi-vitamin that is similar to the gummy ones made for kids?   I've tried several different 'adult' multi-vitamins and they all make me sick to my stomach.  I'm using Centrum chewables now and having the same problem.  I know they make kids vitamins that are gummy...anyone seem them for big people?

I don't know of gummy adult ones, but I know adults who take the kids ones. Double check the dosages and see if you can get that to work for you.

Also, do you take your vitamins with food? I've heard they can cause stomach issues if taken on an empty stomach, so you may want to retry the Centrum but soon after a meal.

Vitamins have the same recommended dosages for anyone 4 or older.  So it is likely the kids vitamins would give you the same quanitity of vitamins as the adult ones.   Compare the dosages on the bottles.  If you like the kid ones, take those instead.

Have you ever tried Rainbow Light? My mom gave me a box and they are supposed to be gentle on the stomach...

I take the Viactiv chewables.  They are about the consistency of caramel (a little less sticky) and taste like chocolate.  Pretty good.  I always take them on an empty stomach and I've never had a problem

I just got some kids gummy vitamins and they are really good.  I've taken then for 5-6 days now and they haven't made me sick.  I actually want to eat them when I see them sitting on the counter.  It's a good alternative if you like the taste/texture of gummy bears....

Glad to hear the gummy ones may work - for me, switching to an iron-free one got rid of all the tummy aches... maybe an option if you hadn't tried that. (It's a little challenging to find a "woman's" multi without iron, but it can be found.)
