I, also, am a big sweater. Right now, as i am just starting out, i don't run fast enough, or long enough, to leave a river.

When i used to ride a lot, a few years ago, my face used to be white from the salt left from the sweat, tasted yummy in the shower.

I don't sweat that much on a treadmill i'll have to wipe my forehead every few minutes and my shirt will be wet but just a few drips here and there. My rollers on the other hand I'm pouring sweat! there is like a constant stream running down my face and usually have a small puddle under my bike when I'm done, I wonder why the big difference between treadie and rollers???

I avoid the treadmills at all cost, partly because I sweat a lot on them. Fortunately we have a decent 1/8th mile indoor track at my gym. I got off the stationary bike and had someone ask me if that was all really my sweat. I have a nice fan set up in front of my bike at home and a window right next to me for fresh air though for when I ride on that. Evapotranspiration is a great thing.

Ha!  Love the "run outside you wimp" choice!  Let's see, I did a 20-mile run in 34F rain/snow 3 weeks ago, and I've also done 10-mile tempo runs on 105F, 98% humidity days, so I feel like I'm tough enough to do it.  It's just that it's more convenient some days to hit the gym instead of going home and getting all suited-up for the trail.  Plus, the gym has spa, sauna, and steamroom!

I sweat way more when I run on the treadmill than when I am running outside.  I do as much as I can outside and really dread the times I have to come in to use the treadmill.
