Subject: Did anyone else get outside in shorts today?

There was a break in the rain this afternoon, when the sun came out for a while.  I was way overdressed to go out and clean up the driveway.  After about 45 minutes, I had already stripped off the goretex down to base layers, and had to go inside to put on a pair of shorts.  My wife thought I was nuts, and a couple of the neighbors actually pointed and laughed.  Hey, its was 50+ degrees!

But, I got outside in shorts today and it felt great ... might have even got some tan .... nah ....

Spring is on its way.  Its not hurrying, but its on the way.

Let's see..I rode 100 miles in beautiful sunny weather, temps were in the 70s, I think.  Does that count?

I think we got a half hour.....

You know how we always seem to have a stretch of 2-3 days every winter where everything melts, and its absolutely beautiful out?  Well, where is that?  I hope it wasn't that short span yesterday.  

I remember playing golf in Feb. when I was in college.

I am in Los Angeles right now. It was about 70 degrees and every one I saw biking was wearing full leg spandex. I had to laugh. Also in the morning It was about 50 degrees and I saw people walking to work/wherever with winter coats on!!!! Hmmm I guess I looked weird in my shorts and tee shirt.
