After a good number of years, my wife finally had to buy a new swim suit because her old one had a hole in the knee.

I recommend a mesh drag suit (which will last a long time) and a speedo under it. It doesn't matter what color, so a cheap grab bag works well. And if the speedo gets thin, its ok, since the mesh drag suit is still not see through. It also helps with strength training a bit.

I replace my swim suit when the materiel gets so thin that I can read a newspaper through it!
