I've decided to move from lurking in this forum, to regular and active participation.

The triathlon season is well and truly underway down here in Australia, and my first triathlon in seven years (hence the "Born Again") is only two weeks away

I started swim training two weeks ago, I don't recall it being so hard or so rewarding but what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. I have been regularly riding and running for the past four to five months, but it's difficult turning around seven years of sedentary lifestyle in a few short months. Wish me luck for my date with destiny: 19 December.

Welcome to BT... if you've done this before then you should have no problem getting back to it.  I've never done it (as with most here) and if we can do it in a few months, I'm sure you'll shine.  Good Luck

Hi Maryke,

I'm in Brisbane (just updated my profile) and I'm doing the Gatorade Series up here, I'm starting to get nervous just thinking about it. I'm sure those nerves will disappear once my wave goes off. I'll try and provide a race report, but I'm not so sure that it will be terribly interesting .

Do you have any races planned for this season?
