Subject: RE: Valve extensions for zipps Last October, the day before my last tri of the season, I was having problems with my 404 front Zipp valve extension. I got so frustrated with it that I replaced the tube with one made by a compnay called Vredestein. The Vredestein tube had an extended valve on it so there was no need for an extension. I plan on changing out the rear 808 Zipp to a Vredestein tube as well. Not sure if the valve will be long enough for the 808, but I understand that the company makes longer ones if needed. I have more peace of mind now that I don't use extensions. Tube for 404 is a "S60." Edited by saltydog7mile 2008-03-01 10:55 AM
