I am not sure if anyone is planning on doing this run or not.  I believe it is a 5K maybe a 10K as well but my wife and I are staying downtown in Detroit for the weekend and hooping it up with the green.  I also plan on running the race on Sunday.

Any takers?

I just signed up for the 4 miler on Sunday. It will be my first outdoor run of 2008 - unless of course it's to cold and I stay inside Casey's Tavern and observe.

More information.  It is a 4 mile run and to costs $20 to sign up at Total Runner in Farmington Hills.  You may also be able to sign up at the Dix road Total Runner if you print off the entry form and take a check or cash to the store with you.

If you guys are going to be down there doing the run, I highly recommend going to a place right by there called Baile Corcaigh (pronounced Bally Cork). Very cool Irish pub/restaurant with very good food. I would stop there for a post-race pint if I were you.

It is on the corner of Bagley and Trumbull (just one or two blocks south of Tiger Stadium).
