Yeah, I got tired of doing that and adjusted my pedals to be as loose as possible.  I haven't accidentally unclipped yet.  I have a nice scar down the length of my shin from that happening on my mtn bike - landed on a huge chunk of quartz.  That stuff is sharp!

The first time I crashed, I was going downill and tried to lean around a switchback corner covered in sand
I ended up crashing FOUR times that ride!
But I haven't since

first time i ever rode clipless pedals i found a pair of my dads old shoes in the garage from the mid eighties, so i decided to clip them into my pedals and go for a spin. Same thing happened to me part way through the ride where i freaked out that i couldn't take my foot of the petal and i ended up TEARING THE UPPER SOLE (the soft leather shoe) FROM THE HARDENED PLASTIC SOLE PLATE because the shoes were so old.

I agree, it's only a crash if something breaks

I duffed my handlebars a bit on my first ride. Aside from that I have been ok until that 2nd time I crashed, when I unclipped one side but decided I wanted to lean to the other.

That whoulda been mah foot back in october...broke fith metatarsel while running a 5 k. smooth flat surface ( brand new assphault)  perfect weather. Just pass mile one i rolled mah ankle and broke the foot. I did, however finish the race ( run, walk, run). The wife was not happy bout me finishing the race. ( Oh and I already have hardware in mah ankle thats why it did not break.)

How about..."I tumped over."Laughing
