Hey all - The wife and I are planning to bring our kids (13 and 14 YO girls) to the Dells for a vacation this summer.  We went online to start to plan and WOW - where do you start???  I felt like I was looking at a map of a lost country.

We have no idea where we should go, what we should do, what the best places are, any of that stuff.  We all like to ride bikes, play golf (real and mini), do the water slide thing, be adventurous, go-kart race, all of that kind of stuff.  Can someone point me in the right direction up there?

Thanks.

I've only been to Wisconsin Dells once, so I can't be of much help there. But Devil's Lake and Natural Bridge State Park are definitely worth a visit. Both are about a half hour from the Dells.

Devil's Lake has great rock formations, trails for hiking or running and a beach around a big lake. The only downside is it can get kind of crowded in the summer. Check it out:

You can camp at Devil's Lake, then drive into the Dells...would save you cash on the hotel since you'll be going during the on season.

You MUST ride the Ducks!!

I recommend The Great Wolf or The Wilderness (3 indoor waterparks) - http://www.wildernessresort.com/

The Kalahari is the priciest that I have run across.

You (and the family) will have a blast!

Yep. You simply cannot go to the Dells without going to Noah's Ark and riding "Black Anaconda". And I'm not just saying that because they're my client and I did the commercial:
