First swim in pool in YEARS!

Extreme Veteran  482  |  Subject: First swim in pool in YEARS!Well, tonight was my first swim swimming laps in years!! I got in the pool in my new lap suit, new prescription goggles, new swim cap and chugged out 500 yards. Of course, I had to take a break after every 25yds (because my new goggles leaked and then my ears got water in them)  Wow! I can do it and I don't have worry about being the newbie participant who completes her 400 m swim in the pool by hanging onto the lane markers! Just thought I would share my excitement! |

Sensei  Sin City | Subject: RE: First swim in pool in YEARS! Nice job! Good thing about swimming, it's like riding a bike (or is riding a bike like swimming?) Anyway, once you learn, you don't forget. May get tired quickly at first, but should get back into "swimming shape" in no time! |
