Subject: Advanced training programs?
I thought I read somewhere on BT about advanced training programs being available in addition to the beginner programs. Any updates on those? I'd like to find something to base my Oly training on but the beginner programs start out a little too basic. I can easily run 10 miles, swim 2 miles, and bike 50 miles so I have the basic endurance...I just need some specific guidance on getting faster and training for an Oly distance race.

Thanks. I was talking specifically about the training plans that are posted here on BT though.

I just ordered a plan from transition times. They sent me an email about a clearance sale. Saved five bucks on it.

there will be a sprint at the beginning of the new year, followed by an oly a month or so later, then a full ironman.  a usat coach is preparing them specifically for
BT - he has been busy hence i can't get all of them now...but they will be well worth it, i couldnt think of anybody better to do them.

we are going to offer the sprint and oly as part of the new 'performance membership' that we will be rolling out throughout this winter/spring - we gotta eat...and sleep.  the beginner ironman will be totally free.

we r in the process of putting together some very nice packages for the bronze, silver and gold memberhsips here besides just a few shirts.  more details later.  i will guarantee you though, you will never find a place that offers you more, free, or as part of the performance membership, then what we will be unleashing here throughout 2005.

Thanks Ron...that's what I was looking for. I've been planning to throw some funds at BT for a membership anyway so I'll be looking forward to the Oly training program.
