Did anyone got on the bike today?

I got in my first ride today and loved it. The pot holes were insane though but I got through it. I am super anxious to get in some more rides and runs in warm weather. Spring is just around the corner.

Gonna get an old MTB out on the road tomorrow. Hines Drive here I come! (provided it's west of A2 Trail and the flooding I'm sure could be a problem)

30 mile commute home (Zeeland to Grand Haven) tonight, SWEET!!!! Stiff west wind made for a tough 7 mile push to the lakeshore and the temp dropped at least 5 degrees as a result....But, I was OUTSIDE and it felt great!!! Was hoping to do Saturday's long ride outside, but it may be a wee bit too chilly yet over here, but next week is looking good again!!

I ran 7 outside today and it felt pretty good.  Got a little cold toward the end, but overall, it was nice to be outside.

I did, however, pass by a peloton of roadies.  It was encouraging.

I tried getting out all day but kept getting nailed down by bike fits and editorial work. I did see all the fellows come and go throughout the day. There were a lot of dirty bikes coming back in through the door, and a lot of gritty smiles too

I think we've turned the corner...

Made it out for a 3 hour ride on the MTB. It was real nice to be riding outside today. Lots of folks running and biking on Hines.

I actually ran outside in shorts up the trail from Bikesport to Hines yesterday. It felt awesome.

I didn't get the bike out but I did get in a nice 9 mile run. It felt awesome to be outside with the sun out. I think the treadmill days are almost over.

I'm headed out for another 5 miler in a few minutes and then the Computrainer for an hour. It isn;t as warm here today- low 40's and overcast. A bit "dull" as the English like to say.

Sadly, relegated to the trainer again for the ride portion of yesterday's 3 hour brick....sigh. We had a hard freeze overnight and temps didn't make it out of the low 30's until well after noon. I was worried about icy spots on Lakeshore Dr. Hoping the rain holds off Monday afternoon so I can do a REAL hill ride after work....

-Just got back from a 34 mile round trip to downtown Detroit where we had coffee at the award-winnning Astoria Bakery in Greektown. Festive atmosphere downtown with the St Patrick's Day run going on and the parade after. A little gusty and quite chilly today. Rode my new Felt B2 Pro with training wheels on it and was awfully thankful for a full kit of Assos cold weather riding clothes.

Rode with Franke A, Pierre, Mario and Mike- a good crew. Ran into a few cyclists coming west out of the Pointes at Astoria. Apparently a group from the Pointes rides weat into Detroit and does a lap of Belle Isle then tea at the Au Bon Pain in Campus Marsh next to the Hard Rock Cafe'.

We prefer Astoria for delightfully smooth coffee and ecclectic pastries.

26 miles of Hines Drive and a loop through Northville. Glad the sun was out as it's still kinda chilly.

I got out yesterday for about 32 miles and hopefully if the rain holds off the next two days will get some "road time" in. Need later in the week to spruce up a little. I like to do my long rides on Fridays but not looking so hot right now.

My wife and I ran a half amry today in Moncolva Oh. It was an awsome event, a little chilly in the wind but at least there wasn't any snow. Come on warm weather.
