Subject: Prednasone and HR
I've been on Oral Steroids for ITBS for a few days, and yesterday when I ran, my HR was much higher than usual for the effort.  Could they be related?

Corticosteroids don't generally affect heart rate much.  They can make your blood pressure go up, but i can't say that I've ever seen much effect on heart rate.  Of course, most folks I treat aren't going out for a run while they're on them.  I can look it up further when I get home.
