Newbie in NY

Hi, my name is Jason. I live in Glenville NY and have been competing in triathlons for 1 season. I started out racing mountain bikes all through college. As I got older I thought about doing a tri but was always scared to take the leap.

Last May I finally said what the heck and did my first race. I have to say after the first time I was totally addicted. I have this disorder (we’ll call it). I start something and get so involved it seems to take over my life. Triathlons and training has done it for me now. It has changed my life and made me push myself harder then I thought I could.

My goal last year was only to race in 1 or 2 races. 7 races later I am training for a Half Ironman with hopes of someday competing in the Ironman Lake Placid.
Only a few more months and the real season starts and I see how well my off season training worked….
