So I thought I had this figured out but thought I'd ask those more in the know in case I was going about this all wrong

If my workout calls for :
"MS: 300 on 1:30 rest
2 * 150 on :45 rest
4 * 75 on :30 rest "

Am I swimming 300 then resting 1:30 or am I trying to swim 300 in 1:30 (like, is that even humanly possible? . And so on, 150 then 45 RI?

Tnx!!

Swim 300, then rest 1:30.
150, then :45 rest, repeat.
Etc.

A 300 in 1:30 would win you a spot at the interplanetary olympic games. In the lane next to the fish species.

Have fun in the pool!

If you can swim 300m in 1:30 you might as well give up now...

well THAT'S a relief, as it takes me 2:00 to do 100 so I thought for a minute, gee, I must be really, really, really slow if they're wanting me to do 300 in 1:30.

OY, foiled again, our rec center was closed for Easter -- I'll try to refrain from a minor rant over a publicly funded institution being closed on a Christian holiday but I guess it was a good excuse for a day off.

It's now been 8 days on land. My gills are sure to fall off.

My wife noticed on one company's website they were closed on 3/21 [Good Friday] for "Seasonal Observance". I'm sure that's why your rec center was closed too. Nothing at all to do with religion Just observing the season.

yeah, yeah, I know. Most ordinary folks wouldn't be annoyed. I got the treadmill, got the nifty new kinetic trainer, but hubby'll kill me if I start talking lap pool.....

Like others have said MS = Main Set

300 w/ 1:30 rest

then 2 150's on :45 rest

then 4 75's on :30 rest
