Are wheels something I need to worry about? Just got a new bike too and didn't even occur to me I might be too heavy. How do you know the weight limit on a wheel?

I wouldn't worry unless your spoke count is less than 28 in the rear, 20 or 24 in the front.

You don't need to worry about it, unless you got some really low-spoke count wheels.  Usually, that's an upgrade.

Regular wheels that come with your bike should be just fine.

Excellent rim choice for the rear wheel. I'm running Deep-V's on both my bikes, I'm 220+/-

Nothing wrong with a knock-off if it gets the job done.

Nice ride. It's not a white-garage-door pic, but white-washer-dryer works too.

Nice ride, I'm sure you'll be riding it soon.

Just checking out the pic, looks like you need a rear wheel reflector.

Good luck with the new bike.

I say it to everyone, but if you don't know, learn how to change a flat on the bike you own, learn how to adjust everything that could need adjusting.

Keep it clean, and check everything out every time you ride, kids love to touch stuff.

unless this is your commuter bike, or you plan to train at dusk or dawn, take off those wheel, front and back reflectors so this can be a proper racing machine

not yet...we've had crappy weather up until this week and then I got the flu...bleh

I'm hoping this weekend is nice...most of the snow is gone now, so I'll just be dodging potholes.
