Hi all, just a quick "Hello!"

Recently started training for my first triathlon season after many years of wanting to try it but never actually getting around to it.

I am doing the Olympic distance in the London Triathlon on August 1st this year and it would be great to hear from anyone else who is going along.

Cheers all!

I’m not going but I’d love to know where in London they are holding this. Especially the swim bit!!!! I’m grimacing already (having spent 17 years working there!!). the only place close to suitable would be greenland dock I would have thought.

Perhaps I should aim for this next year – mix it in with a business trip!!

Hey Dana, consider yourself the team uktriman cheerleader Do you have your own pom-poms?

Yes Mike, the swim is being held at the Royal Vicrotia Dock in the Docklands area of East London. If your interested there are details on the official website www.thelondontriathlon.com/.

Who knows, may see you there next year! We could call ourselves 'Team Trispot'!..we already have a cheerleader

Ok, ok, I've clearly gotten myself into deep water. I'm not really the pom-pom type (although I could probably come up with a short skirt or two). I'd much rather be gettin' dirty out there on the playing field.

Regardless, I shall be supportive.

Rah, rah!

Well I rather hoped you weren't the pom-pom type actually!

I will keep you posted though, thanks for the support. There is a place for you on 'Team Uktriman' anytime

Am I really the only non-elite entering this year?...not that I am complaining lol.
