I know this is the "run" thread, but I was wondering about the swim - -anyone know if it's a mass start or in waves?

Are you looking for someone to wave at you Tom?

From what I have heard in the past the XTerra group will go as a group and all Oly will go as a group as its not a very large race. So that means I can draft you!

I originally was planning on doing this race, but I got tired just driving the bike course. So I'm skipping it for Bartlett lake next weekend.

Bartlett has tougher hills than Saguaro. I rode at Bartlett a few times while training for Silverman.

Yeah I figured that out after the fact... But also the logistics of Sagauro make it hard for the kids to follow me around to watch with the point to point to point and all. If I understand correctly Bartlett is all in one transition area so they can stay put and see everything. Plus the think its funny when they see me puke...

I was talking with Dave today (the RD) and he said they cut part of the run out. The part where you run along the river rock is supposedly not there and you don't have to go up the hill out of Saguaro Ranch Resort anymore... just straight to the finish.
