Hello all...i was a national swimmer all threw high school and had to give it up for school. Ive raced road bikes for 7 years and have done some running. My good friend was a rank triathalete in the 18-24 age roup when he died in a car accident so ive decided that i am going to give it a try.
If anyone needs help with swimming tips just shoot me one. I can make workouts too

happy training

Jim

I swam in high school too. Our team was ranked #1 in the nation one year.  Welcome to the great sport of triathlon!  Where are you from?

Jim,

You are 2/3s there already! (Which is a lot further along than I was when I started)

From now on it's "I'm going to give it a TRI" (not try) Just kidding, but good luck training!

Tony

Welcome to the site Jim!

Sorry to hear about your friend. I'm glad you have a great focus ahead of you and as has been mentioned already- you are starting out a lot further ahead than most of us ever did. Heck, when I first decided to give it a 'tri' I didn't even know how to swim.

so, congratulations, welcome and I'm sure I'll be bugging you about form and such! :0)
