Subject: Jamis Trilogy?
I have noticed that no one ever talks about this bike. It looks like a really nice offering in the $2000 range. The frame set seems to be very aero, and the components are great.
Dura-ace, ultegra mix, easton fork, and wheels, and a fizik saddle. Before I saw this bike I was basicly set on a cervelo p2sl. Its hard to turn away from the cervelo because the quality is so easily recognized.
It seems that the jamis tube profile is wind tunnel tested, just like the cervelo.
Can anyone attest to the quality of Jamis frames?

Thanks

Here is a link to the bike's specs.

I have the 2007 Trilogy and I really like it. From 2007 to 2008 they moved the cables internally, and made a few small changes including revising the geometry. I paid roughly 1600 iirc and would do so again.

I am Debs' husband Rick, I sold Jamis for about two years and love the bikes. (don't work in the bike business right now, that's why I don't sell them currently) Would easily put them up against any of the more well known brands. You generally get more bang for the buck with Jamis, especially with the tri bikes, they are trying to prove themselves in the market. I am riding the 2008 Xenith T1, the full carbon model and love, love, love it. Very stiff and responsive and one of the most aero bikes on the market. Regarding the Trilogy, yes, very good bike for the money. Geometry, spec, aerodynamics, all there. Also a great looking bike, I have seen it in person. I would say go for it unless your budget allows you to go for the Xenith T1, goes for around $3k, alot more bike for the extra $1k, full carbon frame, hidden brakes, more aero, blah, blah, blah. If ya have anymore questions regarding bikes don't hesitate to ask, it's my thing!

I own a 2007 Trilogy. I did my homework and I wanted something unique. No knock against the other brands, but I wanted something that not everyone had. I loved the spec' of the bike especially the Easton Fork, Mavic Wheels, Ultegra stuff. Seemed like a lot of value for the money. I was fitted this fall and I really really like it. Of course the 2008's came out and I lusted over those, especially the carbons. But who doesn't keep looking at bikes the minute you buy a new one?
